Congratulations to Snohomish County USBC's Mikayla Bowman for taking 1st Place in Girls U12 division of the Pepsi Washington West Sectionals last weekend at Triangle Bowl! 8 youth bowlers from Evergreen Lanes and 1 from Strawberry Lanes will advance to the Pepsi State Finals held at Zeppoz in Pullman, WA April 27th & 28th. Congratulations to Brandon Bowman for winning the 2023 Washington State WSUSBC Open Championships Division A – Singles (826) and Scratch All Events (2153) titles.  Bowman also collects a free entry into the 2024 WSUSBC Open Championships, hosted in Spokane, WA and will be representing Washington State at the 2024 USBC Masters in Las Vegas, NV.  Bowman adds this year’s victories to his previous WSUSBC titles – the 2022 WSUSBC Mixed Open Championships Division A – Scratch All Events and 2003 WSUSBC Open Championships All Events.

Snohomish County Youth Awarded Scholarships from Washington State USBC

Coach Ron Hicks, Washington State USBC Director and Snohomish County USBC Vice President, presents Elisabeth Olney and Seaira Fogg with scholarship certificates at the Washington State USBC Showcase on March 26th, 2022 held in Yakima, WA. Each recipient received $4,000 in SMART funds for use in continuing education after high school. Two Snohomish County USBC Youth were awarded $4,000 scholarships at the Washington State USBC Showcase on March 26th, 2022 held in Yakima, WA. Elisabeth Olney and Seaira Fogg each took home one of six scholarships, totaling $24,000 in SMART funds awarded by WSUSBC. Snohomish County USBC will also be awarding scholarships at the annual meeting in the summer.
